Russians hit TV tower in Chernihiv center

Russian troops struck a TV tower in the center of Chernihiv on October 29. This was reported by the press service of the Chernihiv City Council on October 30.

The Chernihiv TV tower in the city center was damaged by a strike by Russian troops. Work will be carried out to stabilize the structure in the near future, so residents should be careful.

“We ask Chernihiv residents not to approach the TV tower and limit their stay near it to a radius of 200 meters. Following these recommendations is the key to your safety,” the city council noted.

The day before, the city council announced that the Russians had attacked a critical infrastructure facility in the city center. However, they did not report at the time that it was the TV tower.

An administrative building and a residential building were also damaged, with windows and balcony structures broken or damaged.

In Chernihiv region, Russians continue to strike civilian infrastructure. In Koryukiv district, a drone hit a warehouse, and in Pryluky district, transport infrastructure was attacked.

This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, Vyacheslav Chaus.
