
In the nine months of this year, 11 Russian attacks on ships were recorded in the ports of Odessa region. At the same time, 13 civilian ships and one warship were damaged, said the head of the Monitoring Group of the “Institute for Black Sea Strategic Studies” Andriy Klymenko.
According to the monitoring group’s calculations, there were no attacks on ships in September, but in August there were 5 attacks (including the Russians attacking a warship), in July – also 5 attacks. June – 0, May – 1, April – 0, March – 3 ships, in January-February – no information was received, Klymenko notes.
Vessels were attacked in the Odessa Sea Trade Port, the Chornomorsk Sea Trade Port, the Izmail Sea Trade Port, in the ports of the Danube region, in the coastal waters of the Black Sea and the Danube estuary.
The means of attack were ballistic missiles, attack drones, remotely controlled sea unmanned boats, and sea mines, Klymenko reported.
