
Since the de-occupation and until now, under the procedural guidance of Kherson region prosecutors, more than 36 thousand crimes against peace, security of humanity and international law and order have been recorded. (Articles 436-447 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). There are already 239 suspects, indictments against 212 people have been sent to court. And 41 people have been convicted, three of whom have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
Prosecutors are also recording the consequences of Russian shelling of the right bank of the Kherson region. These figures are living stories.
Over these three years, the Russians have killed 1,990 people, including 44 children. Over 6,5 thousand people were injured due to Russian shelling. More than 45 thousand civilian objects have been destroyed.
A separate front of work for prosecutors is crimes against national security.
Those who betrayed Ukraine: headed the occupation bodies, organized pseudo-referendums, worked in punitive structures or passed data to the Russians will be held accountable under the law.
And already 1,275 suspects have been suspected. Indictments have been sent to court for 1,200. 425 people have been convicted. Among them, 9 received the most severe punishment – life imprisonment.
