Property of citizens was damaged, and children did not go to school: consequences of the attack on the city of Artsyz

On November 13, for several hours, the Russian army shelled the city of Artsyz in the Bolgrad district of the Odessa region with strike drones. This led, among other things, to damage to the property of citizens. This was reported by the chairman, Serhiy Parpulansky.

Despite the active work of the air defense, the roof of the railway repair shop was destroyed, as a result of which a fire broke out on the spot. In addition, damage to citizens’ property by UAV fragments was recorded.

“We ask everyone who suffered damage to immediately contact the Artsyz City Council with a corresponding application for an inspection and determination of the extent of the damage,” Serhiy Parpulansky reported.

Since the alarm sounded until the very morning, no one managed to sleep. Therefore, the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Artsyz City Council decided to transfer all educational institutions to distance learning, and in the event of a lack of electricity, to completely cancel classes.

All sports competitions scheduled for November 13 have also been canceled.
