The Russian army shelled several border and frontline settlements in the Kharkiv region during the day from 8 am on November 15 to the morning of November 16, resulting in a civilian being wounded.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov.
At least five communities were hit, where housing was destroyed and civilian infrastructure was damaged. The use of various types of weapons was recorded, which once again demonstrates the scale of terror against the civilian population of the region.
According to the regional authorities, the Russians struck at border and frontline territories, targeting residential areas, economic buildings and infrastructure facilities.
At least five settlements were under Russian fire, including villages and settlements that have been under constant attack for a long time.
Windows were broken in a number of houses, roofs were damaged, outbuildings were destroyed, and people were left without electricity and normal access to basic services.
Separate strikes hit transport and industrial infrastructure facilities, which complicates logistics and the work of local businesses.
In one of the districts, the shelling damaged an enterprise and elements of the power system, which is why rescuers had to quickly eliminate the consequences and restore the electricity supply.
Specialists are also inspecting the condition of roads and railway tracks, as the explosions could have left dangerous craters and hidden damage.
As a result of the shelling, a local resident who was near the epicenter of the strike was injured. Medics quickly took him to the hospital, where they provided the necessary assistance, and his condition is being monitored by doctors.
Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the shelling, recording the destruction, and collecting fragments of ammunition for further investigation into Russian war crimes.
