Enemy troops continue to fire from the territory of the Russian Federation on populated areas on the border of Chernihiv region. On January 24, the communities of Semenivska and Snovska came under mortar fire. This was reported by the press service of the Pivnich operational command.

In the morning, it was reported about 7 attacks, presumably from a 120 mm mortar, in the area of ​​the village of Hrinivka of the Snovska community.

Closer to noon, the occupiers fired a 120-mm mortar at the village of Karpovichi, Semenivska community. Three mines exploded here.

No information was received about losses among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure.

More than 100 “arrivals”: Russians shelled three communities in Chernihiv region

The Russian occupying forces continue their criminal tactics of shelling the Ukrainian border.

Thus, on January 23, the enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars and barrel artillery. The Novgorod-Siverska, Semenivska and Snovska communities of Chernihiv region came under enemy fire, the State Border Service reports.

During the day, the Russians shelled the Semenivsk community twice: with mortars – 8 explosions, and from barrel artillery – 47 explosions. Enemy fire was directed from the area of ​​populated areas to New Ropsk and Sushany.

The Novgorod-Siversk community was under enemy fire three times – in total, about four and a half dozen airstrikes were recorded from the Russian settlements of Hudovka and Pogar.

22 mortar shots were recorded along the border of the Snovsk community. The Russians opened fire from the area of ​​the village of Kyrilovka.

New shelling: more than 120 explosions in Chernihiv region

Over the past day, the Russians shelled the territory of the Chernihiv region 6 times. Fire was conducted from mortars, self-propelled guns and barrel artillery. In total, more than 120 explosions were recorded.

On the afternoon of January 23, Russian terrorists fired from mortars in the area near the village of Karpovychi, Semenivska community of the Novgorod-Siversky district. 8 explosions were counted here.

There was heavy shelling near the village of Liskivshchyna, Semenivska hromada – almost 50 explosions, probably from barrel artillery.

During the day, the Russians fired from self-propelled guns on the territory near the village of Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Novgorod-Siversk community. 19 explosions were recorded here.

Twice during the day, the area near the village of Buchki, Novgorod-Siverska hromada was under fire from mortars, 25 explosions from mines.

The enemy also fired mortars in the Koryukiv district – 22 explosions near Huta Studenetska, Snovska community.

There were no reports of casualties or damage.

The invaders fired mortars at the border of Sumy region

The army of the Russian Federation continues to shell the border settlements of the Sumy region, 10 hits were recorded in the morning. This was reported by the “North” operational command.

“From 09:00 to 09:20, a report was received about 10 rounds, presumably from a 120 mm mortar, in the Boyaro-Lezhachi area,” the message reads.

There are no losses among personnel and equipment.

No information was received about losses among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure.

During the past day, the Russian invaders shelled the border of Sumy region and Chernihiv region with mortars, barrel artillery and MLRS, causing casualties and injuries.

“On January 23, the enemy inflicted fire damage with the use of mortars, barrel artillery and MLRS. Yunakivska, Bilopolska, Vorozhbyanska, Esmanska, Znob-Novgorodska and Putivlska communities of Sumy region and Novgorod-Siverska, Semenivska and Snovska communities of Chernihiv region came under enemy fire,” the State Border Service of Ukraine informed.

As noted, in the first half of the day, the invaders shelled the territory of the Bilopol community twice with 120 mm mortars and barrel artillery, in total there were about 25 explosions from mine explosions and almost 25 – from shells. The fire came from the Russian settlements of Zorya and Volfino.

Along the border of the Esman community, the enemy from the area of ​​Lokot and Nekislytsia settlements fired mortars and barrel artillery – 39 explosions were recorded. As a result of the shelling, a woman died, and three more people were injured.

In the Znob-Novgorod community, the Russian army fired mortars from the side of the Bila Berizka settlement – 14 explosions were recorded, and the Putivlsk community was fired at from the Dronivka area with small arms fire – 15 artillery shell explosions were recorded.

During the day, the invaders shelled Semenivsk community twice: from mortars – 8 explosions – and from barrel artillery – 47 explosions. The fire started from the area of ​​Novy Ropsk and Sushany settlements.

According to the State Border Service of Ukraine, the Novgorod-Siversk community came under enemy fire three times – in total, about 45 projectile launches were recorded from the Russian settlements of Hudovka and Pohar.

In the afternoon, the enemy from the settlement of Hornal shelled the territory of the Yunakiv community with 120 mm mortars, about 10 explosions were counted. As a result of shelling, two houses and power lines were damaged in one of the settlements of the community.

Subsequently, the Russian invaders fired from Zorya territory of the Vorozhbyan community with barrel artillery, one and a half dozen explosions were counted. As a result of shelling in one of the settlements of the community, an apartment building, railway premises and tracks were damaged, gas pipelines and power lines were broken by shrapnel, and commercial premises of local residents were destroyed. It passed without casualties.

On January 23, Russian troops shelled the house of a large family in Sumy region, the mother was killed, and two members of the family were injured.

Over the past day, enemy troops shelled the border settlements of the Sumy region. A total of 264 shots were scored.

As a result, one high-rise building, 6 private houses, utility premises, the village council, a cultural center, railway and track premises, a track snowplow, a gas pipe and power lines were damaged.

Three citizens were injured and a young woman died. They are all members of the same family.

According to these facts, the police opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of laws and customs of war”.
