Blast wave in Pavlohrad damaged more than 15 garages

Garages and cars were damaged as a result of the November 23 strike, law enforcement officers continue to record the damage.

In Pavlohrad, rescuers and law enforcement officers continue to record the consequences of a powerful night attack. As a result of the explosions, one of the city’s garage complexes suffered significant damage – more than 15 garages were damaged, several of which had cars in them at the time of the impact.

According to eyewitnesses, the force of the blast wave was so powerful that a car in one of the garages was overturned and thrown into a neighboring building, where the vehicle also received mechanical damage. Metal doors were torn out, walls were cut by debris, and some of the garages are actually unusable.

Specialists have already begun inspecting the impact site and are documenting the extent of the damage. The police are working with the owners, recording damaged property, and collecting evidence.

Information about possible victims is still being clarified, as is the final assessment of the damage. Residents of nearby buildings report that the blast wave was heard several blocks away – windows in some homes were shaking.

City authorities emphasize the need to be careful, not to approach dangerous areas, and to report suspicious objects or damage to utility services or the police.
