Kyiv after night shelling: number of victims and injured increased

The morning of November 29, in Kyiv began with the severe consequences of massive Russian shelling – the number of dead and injured increased.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to operational information as of 09:00 on November 29, 2 people died in the city, 16 more were injured, including a child. Rescuers managed to pull out of the rubble and save 8 people, including a child and a disabled citizen. As a result of the combined strike, residential buildings in several districts of the capital were damaged.

Shevchenkivskyi district

A 14-story residential building was damaged. Apartments on the 4th-5th floor were occupied, the fire was quickly extinguished. Medical assistance was provided to one victim.

Solomyanskyi district

Rocket fragments fell on a 25-story building, causing a fire in the external insulation and partial destruction of the facade from the 1st to the 3rd floor. Parked cars were damaged. The fire was extinguished, two victims were provided with assistance on the spot.

At another address, the fragments damaged a 17-story building – without a fire.

Garages in the private sector were also hit, the fire was extinguished.

Svyatoshynskyi district

An enemy shell hit the entrance of a 3-story building. A fire broke out on the second floor. Rescuers took out a child, another person sought medical help. The body of the deceased was removed from under the rubble. The fire was extinguished, the dismantling of the structures is underway.

At another address, a two-story building was damaged, the fire was localized.

Dniprovskyi district

A hit on a 10-story building led to the destruction of 6–7 floors. The fire was extinguished. Three people were rescued from the seventh floor, including a person with limited mobility. The collapsed structures are being dismantled.

Darnytskyi district

A rocket falling into the courtyard of a 9-story building caused a fire on the 5–7th floors. One person died, six were injured, and one was hospitalized. The fire was extinguished.

The debris also caused cars to catch fire near a shopping center.

Obolonskyi district

A private house caught fire due to shelling. Rescuers continue to work at the scene.

Holosiivskyi district

The fall of debris from an enemy UAV led to the ignition of garages. The fire was localized.

The State Emergency Service notes that the data continues to be updated, rescue operations are still underway in a number of districts.
