The Russian army launched a missile strike on the Pechenegskyі Dam in the Kharkiv region.

According to eyewitnesses, traffic on the dam is currently temporarily closed, and a detour has been organized.

“The situation is under full control! All services are working. Let’s remain responsible and not jeopardize our safety,” the message says.

The Pechenegskyі Reservoir covers an area of ​​86.2 sq. km, is 65 kilometers long and ranges in width from 300 to 3,000 meters. The reservoir extends from Pecheneg to the Starytsia River, which flows through the Chuguyivskyі and Vovchanskyі districts of Kharkiv region.

The Pechenegskyі Reservoir dam has previously been under fire, with the Russians damaging its upper sluice in 2022.
