In Sumy, the regional military administration provided information according to which the Russian army carried out 30 attacks on 20 settlements in 12 territorial communities of the region on December 9.

For their attacks on the territory of Sumy region, the Russians used a wide range of weapons: artillery, strike UAVs, FPV drones and guided aerial bombs, the Sumy and Shostka districts were under the most intense fire from the Russians.

As a result of these attacks, a 73-year-old man was killed in the Myropylska community, a private car was damaged; In the Krasnopilska community, a 61-year-old man was killed and a 54-year-old woman was injured as a result of an FPV drone attack on a car; in the Sumy community, buildings at a civil infrastructure facility were destroyed and damaged; in the Shalyhynska community, a private residential building was destroyed; in the Seredynno-Budska community, a civil infrastructure facility was damaged.
