
On December 16, at about five in the morning, the Russians fired a “Shaheed” at Zaporizhzhia. It hit a high-rise building. According to police, four people were injured: two men aged 27 and 58, two women – 69 and 78.
According to the head of the regional military administration Ivan Fedorov, a 58-year-old man is currently in serious condition. He has carbon monoxide poisoning. The younger man is in moderate condition.
“A fire broke out on two floors in five apartments with a total area of more than 120 square meters,” Fedorov said.
The house is currently disconnected from electricity and gas supplies, specialists are examining it, and utilities are plugging up broken windows.
Seven people need to be settled in temporary accommodation. In total, about fifty people contacted the city authorities with reports of destruction or damage to their homes, 19 of them are beneficiaries, people with disabilities, internally displaced persons and residents receiving state support.
It was previously reported that more than 50 rescuers were working at the scene, fighting the fire. Law enforcement officers and medics also provided assistance.
