Seven multi-storey buildings damaged in Kyiv due to Russian attack

The consequences of the fall of a Russian drone are being eliminated in the Svyatoshynsky district of Kyiv. Seven residential buildings were damaged, city services and the operational headquarters are working on the site.

This was reported by the head of the Svyatoshynsky district state administration, Georgy Zantaraya.

According to the head of the district state administration, seven residential buildings were damaged as a result of the UAV crash. By the evening, they plan to close all the broken windows and completely clean the surrounding area.

The house that was hit by the drone debris suffered the most damage. According to Zantaraya, due to damage to the gas pipes on the top floor, the gas supply there will probably have to be temporarily turned off. There are no plans to shut off the gas in other houses.

“The gas will most likely be turned off in this house, because there is damage to the gas pipes on the top floor. Other houses are being inspected to leave the gas on. We understand that it is cold outside, so the heat will remain in this house and we will try to ensure that there is gas,” said Zantaraia.

An operational headquarters has been deployed on site, where residents who were injured in the attack can contact. The head of the district state administration also recalled that a total of five people were injured, including a 16-year-old girl.

On the morning of December 23, the Russian army attacked the capital. As a result of the strike, fragments of a drone fell near a high-rise building.
