Two people were injured in Donetsk region due to Russian shelling on December 24

Two civilians became victims of shelling of Donetsk region by the army of the aggressor country Russia on December 24. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration Vadim Filashkin.

He said that on December 24, the Russians opened fire on settlements in the region 12 times. This is slightly less than on December 23, when the Russians carried out 15 shellings.

Seven settlements in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsky districts came under fire.

In Bakhmut district, the Russians shelled Riznykovka. After the strike, damage was recorded to two residential buildings.

In Kramatorsk district, explosions thundered in Lyman, Sloviansk, Novopoltavka and Andriyivka. Six houses and an infrastructure facility were damaged.

In the Pokrovsky district, the Russians struck Dobropilly and Kamianets-Podilskyi. A house, an administrative building, and a warehouse were damaged.

As a result of the shelling, two civilians were wounded and injured — both in Kostyantynivka.

A Russian UAV attacked the Kramatorsk community: houses were damaged

On December 25, at 10:50, Russian troops struck the private sector of the Kramatorsk community in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the press service of the Kramatorsk city military administration.

The Russians used a Molniya-2 UAV for the attack.

Two houses were damaged. According to preliminary information, no casualties.

Russian troops struck an evacuation mission in Kostyantynivka: one volunteer was killed and one was injured

On December 25, the Russian army attacked the city of Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region with an FPV drone on an optical fiber. This was reported by the head of the Kostyantynivka city military administration, Serhiy Gorbunov.

According to him, one person died as a result of the strike, two more were injured.

“The victims were promptly taken to the Druzhkivka city hospital. It should be noted that during the attack, the victims were engaged in the most important thing – the evacuation of people from dangerous zones. This was another evacuation mission designed to save the lives of residents of our community. A passenger car of the public organization “Kramatorsk Volunteer Association” also came under enemy fire. This transport evacuated civilians every day, taking people from the most dangerous zones. The destruction of the housing stock has not been recorded,” said Gorbunov.

The head of the charitable organization “Coordination Humanitarian Center” Yevhen Kolyada reported that Kharkiv volunteer Vyacheslav Ilchenko, who had been engaged in the evacuation of people since 2022, died in Kostyantynivka. The attack occurred at 07:40.
