A strike on a residential building in Chernihiv: a woman died, eight people have already been injured

On December 25, a Russian UAV hit a five-story residential building in Chernihiv. One person died, there are injured.

This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration Dmytro Bryzhinskyі.

As the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Vyacheslav Chaus specified, an 80-year-old woman died. Eight more people were injured. Three of them are in serious condition.

“The drone hit an apartment on the third floor. The destruction is significant. Rescue work is ongoing. Firefighters are extinguishing the fire. All relevant services are working. Volunteers. An invincibility point has been deployed on the site,” the report says.

The building was destroyed from the fourth to the second floor. A fire broke out. Firefighting and clearing of rubble are ongoing. All services are working on the scene.

Emergency services rescued four residents, and nine others were evacuated from the house.
