
22 people have already been injured due to the massive Russian attack on Kyiv, chairman Vitaliy Klitschko reported.
According to him, two children are among the injured, 12 people have been hospitalized.
Klitschko reported on the consequences of the Russian attacks in the capital’s districts:
In the Holosiivskyi district, cars were on fire near a service station due to falling debris.
In the Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out in the territory of private houses, there was a threat of the fire spreading to a house for the elderly located nearby. People were evacuated from there.
Also in the Darnytskyi district, a UAV hit a 24-story building. The fire occurred on the top floor. The 24th and technical floors were partially destroyed. Another high-rise building was hit by a UAV – at the 7th floor level. According to preliminary information, a tram depot was damaged, and private cars were also on fire.
In the Desnyanskyi district, debris fell on an open area, on the territory of a garage cooperative, and debris hit a 9-story building on the 1st floor.
In the Dniprovskyi district, three high-rise buildings were damaged by debris. In one of these buildings (an 18-story building), a fire broke out on the third and fourth floors, and a person may be under the rubble on the fifth floor. Debris also hit a 25-story building, a fire broke out on the first and second floors. The roof of a 19-story building was also damaged.
In the Obolonskyi district, debris fell on the territory of a summer cottage cooperative. But on an open area, cars were burning there.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a UAV hit the top floor of a 10-story building. There is a preliminary fire.
In Solomyanskyi district, as a result of a UAV falling into an open area in a ravine, the windows of a multi-storey apartment building were damaged by the blast wave in the building.
“As a result of the enemy attack, there are interruptions in the heat and power supply in the city. Thus, more than 2,600 residential buildings, 187 kindergartens, 138 schools, and 22 social institutions are currently without centralized heat supply. Power engineers and utility workers are working to restore power and heat supply,” Klitschko noted.
According to the chairman, water pressure is reduced on the left bank of the capital due to damage to the power supply system.
