
On the morning of December 28, the acting head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Kohut reported two strikes by Russian troops on the territory of the region that occurred during December 27.
According to Volodymyr Kohut, the Russians directed missiles at Poltava and the Poltava region, hitting an energy facility.
Residents of Poltava heard explosions during the attack at around 16:00 on December 27, it was an echo from the Myrhorod district.
The fall of the missile was recorded in the Myrhorod district from an open area.
In addition, the Russians struck an energy facility – as a result of the attack, technological equipment was damaged. Energy workers are working on site to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. In both cases, there were no casualties.
The Air Force also reported that on the night of December 28 — starting at 6:00 p.m. the previous day — the Russians carried out a massive attack on Ukraine using 48 drones.
