South of Hulyaipolе, Russian military shot three Ukrainian soldiers. The incident occurred on December 20, 2025.

According to available information, soldiers of one of the mechanized brigades arrived to occupy positions that had previously been arbitrarily abandoned by another Ukrainian unit. However, Russian military personnel were already waiting for them at the scene and opened fire.

This incident is considered another gross violation of international humanitarian law and the rules of warfare by the Russian Federation.
