Russia strikes Kherson with drones: one dead and one injured

On January 1, the Russians launched a drone strike on Kherson. As a result of the Russian attack, one dead and one injured.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson city military administration, Yaroslav Shanko.

“There is already the first victim of the Russian military in the New Year. A 31-year-old city resident was hit by Russian shelling in the Dnipro district and received injuries incompatible with life. Condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased,” his statement said.

Shanko said that on the morning of January 1, the Russians attacked the Kherson community with drones.

“One of them fell in the yard of a private house in Stepanivka. Fortunately, people were not injured and are surprised how the dogs that were in the enclosures survived,” he noted.

The head of the city’s military administration added that another Russian drone flew into a high-rise building in the Central district. As a result, an elderly woman was injured, and several apartments were damaged.
