
On January 5, a series of missile strikes were recorded in Kharkiv, in particular on the industrial zone and the city’s energy infrastructure. The first explosion occurred at around 12:45. From 12:51 to 13:14, four more explosions occurred in the city. The Russians launched five missile strikes on Kharkiv’s energy infrastructure.
Chairman Igor Terekhov confirmed that the strikes were targeted: “The Russians launched five missile strikes on Kharkiv’s energy infrastructure in a targeted manner. We have very significant damage.” This attack was a continuation of the aggression of Russian troops, who on January 1 struck a residential building in Kharkiv, and on January 2 – a multi-storey building in the Kyiv district of the city.
