Russians carried out one of the most massive attacks on Kryvyi Rih. During the day of January 7, Russian troops carried out one of the largest combined attacks on Kryvyi Rih during the entire period of the full-scale invasion, which lasted 13 hours, reports the head of the city’s Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul.
It is noted that the Russians attacked several locations in Kryvyi Rih. As of the morning of January 8, two of the eight injured people remain in the city’s hospitals – they are in moderate condition, stable. Fortunately, there are no deaths.
The situation with electricity in Ingulets, part of Metallurgical and part of Dovhyntsivskyi districts is very difficult. Despite the fact that power engineers worked all night and are still working to restore power supply – 29,360 subscribers in the city are currently out of power.
Water in the system in the south of the city is being maintained by generators — the situation has stabilized.
As for heat, more than 30 boiler houses, including very large ones, were shut down as a result of the attack. But as of this morning, all boiler houses in the city, except for one in the Ingulets district, are operating normally. However, it is powered by a generator — heat supply is just beginning there. Unfortunately, water hammer could not be avoided — gusts are being recorded in the city.
The hospitals in Kryvyi Rih that were de-energized are now also operating on generators.
