Drones and artillery hit Dnipropetrovsk region: a house was destroyed, 8 more homes were damaged

Another shelling on January 20 in the south of Dnipropetrovsk region left dozens of residents without housing and electricity.

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Oleksandr Ganzha. Russian troops again attacked the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, using artillery and strike drones. Nikopol itself, as well as the Myrivska, Chervonogryhorivska and Pokrovska communities, came under fire. The shelling continued for several waves, which significantly complicated the work of emergency services. As a result of the attacks, one private residential building was completely destroyed. Eight more homes suffered varying degrees of damage. A five-story residential building was also damaged. Three outbuildings and a greenhouse were destroyed or damaged in the farms. Some streets were left without electricity due to downed power lines.

Rescuers, utility services, and local government representatives worked on the ground. They surveyed the areas, recorded the extent of the damage, and provided assistance to residents. The number of dead or injured is being verified.

Communities have begun preparing for restoration work. The situation in the area remains tense, and law enforcement officers continue to document the consequences of another war crime.
