Attack on Kyiv region leaves 86,000 people without power: 15 infrastructure facilities damaged

In Kyiv region, another massive attack damaged 15 energy infrastructure facilities, which led to large-scale power outages. According to regional authorities, about 86,000 consumers in several communities were left without power.

Energy workers are working on high alert, but the restoration of power supply is complicated by significant damage and the need to conduct additional technical inspections. Some subscribers have already been connected to backup power sources, but full restoration of networks may take some time.

The Kyiv regional military administration reports that hospitals, critical infrastructure facilities and water supply systems are being connected as a priority. The authorities call on residents of the region to remain calm, use electricity economically and follow official messages regarding restoration schedules.

Experts say attacks on energy facilities are once again increasing the load on the system and creating risks to the stability of networks during peak hours. Energy companies are preparing for possible repeated attacks and strengthening the protection of critical nodes.
