Russians attack Kyiv region with drones: UAV debris falls on kindergarten, man injured in Fastiv district

The Russians do not stop the night and morning terror of the capital region. On January 22, Kyiv region again came under massive attack by Russian drones. Despite the successful work of air defense forces, falling debris caused destruction and injuries among the civilian population.

According to the head of the Kyiv regional military administration Mykola Kalashnyk, the situation in communities remains tense, and rescue services are working in an intensified mode.

The most serious consequences were recorded in Fastiv district. As a result of falling debris from the terrorist country, a fire broke out in a private residential building. The fire almost instantly engulfed the house.

Unfortunately, there were victims. A man born in 1963 was injured during the attack. According to doctors, he received a serious leg injury with severe bleeding. The victim was urgently hospitalized, and doctors are currently fighting for his condition. The State Emergency Service units continue to work at the scene of the fire.

In the Vyshgorod district, the wreckage of a Russian UAV almost caused a tragedy in one of the kindergartens. The deadly iron fell directly onto the territory of the preschool.

“The staff and children were in shelter at that moment – it saved their lives,” emphasized Mykola Kalashnyk.

Thanks to strict adherence to safety rules, there were no injuries among the children and teachers. Fortunately, the kindergarten building also did not suffer significant damage. At the same time, in the same area, a blast wave shattered windows in another private house.
