
On February 3, in the Zarechny district of the city of Sumy, hits were recorded on apartment buildings, Acting Chairman of Sumy Artem Kobzar reported.
As a result of the first hit on the seventh floor of the high-rise building, the heating system in the building was damaged, and up to 10 windows were knocked out.
A hit was also recorded on the fourth floor of another building. As a result of the hit, a fire broke out, and the balcony and windows were damaged.
Previously, there were no deaths or injuries in either case.
However, there were victims in the Konotop community of the Sumy region. The head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov, writes that Russian troops hit a private residential building here. A large-scale fire broke out at the site of the hit.
Three people were rescued from the building. They have experienced severe stress, and the victims are receiving the necessary assistance.
