Russian troops shelled Chernihiv region 56 times on February 1

On February 1, Russian troops shelled two districts of Chernihiv region 56 times with various types of weapons, 83 explosions were recorded.

This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, Vyacheslav Chaus.

“During February 1, the Russians attacked Chernihiv region with “Geraniyas”, FPV drones and mortars. There were 56 attacks – 83 explosions,” Chaus informed.

According to him, as a result of strikes by FPV drones, a civilian car caught fire in Semenivka. In the village of Novgorod-Siverskyi community, windows in several houses were damaged.

In another village, a warehouse of one of the enterprises was damaged due to a UAV strike, which was no longer working. Also, in a village of Chernihiv district, a residential building was damaged as a result of a drone attack.
