From February 2 to 8, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv 22 times with various types of weapons. As a result, 11 people were injured.
This was reported by Chairman Igor Terekhov.
According to him, during the week, the Slobidskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv were under shelling, as a result of which 11 people were injured.
It is noted that civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the shelling, in particular one of the city markets, as well as residential buildings. Apartments from the second to fifth floors were damaged in one of the entrances of an apartment building.
At the same time, due to the shortage of electricity, power outages affect the operation of water supply, heating and public transport systems, Terekhov emphasized.
“Given the cold and workload, for the first time this winter, additional heating tents have been deployed to reinforce stationary invincibility points,” the chairman noted.
Currently, seven municipal points are operating in the Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts. At the same time, if necessary, their number can be increased.
On February 3, at around 2:50 p.m., a Russian drone, Geran-2, hit a residential building in the Saltivskyi district. A fire broke out in the apartments at the scene of the impact. Seven people are known to have been injured.
