In Kakhovka, Russian soldiers killed a local resident: police are looking for witnesses

In temporarily occupied Kakhovka, Russian soldiers killed a 64-year-old local resident. This was reported by the Kherson region police.

According to law enforcement officers, on December 5, 2024, servicemen of the Russian occupation forces were in one of the households on Mykhailo Zhuka Street. Based on national hostility, they inflicted numerous blows to the man’s head. He died from his injuries the same day.

Currently, the police are identifying witnesses and eyewitnesses to the crime.

Kakhovka has been under Russian occupation since the first days of the full-scale invasion. A significant part of the residents were forced to leave the city. The settlement is being destroyed during the fighting, and those who remained continue to live in constant danger.
