Russian drone attacks farm near Kharkiv: about 100 pigs killed, worker injured

On the afternoon of February 19, Russians attacked a private farm in the village of Dvorichny Kut, Solontsevo community, Kharkiv region, using a UAV. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the roof of the farm building. The area of ​​the fire was 40 square meters. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

A farm worker, a man born in 1967, was injured during the strike, and about 100 pigs were killed.

The consequences of the shelling were eliminated by the State Emergency Service units, firefighters from the local fire brigade, sappers and a community rescue officer.

In total, agriculture in Ukraine lost $83.9 billion (UN/World Bank/government estimate for 2025), and Kharkiv region is one of the most affected (in the top 3–5 in terms of direct losses after Donetsk and Luhansk regions). The numbers continue to rise as fighting in the region continues, and demining and soil restoration will take years.
