
On February 23, Russians struck the civilian infrastructure of Nedryhaylivska community of Romensky district, Sumy region. The target of the attack was a warehouse where grain was stored.
As reported by the Sumy region State Emergency Service, a large-scale fire broke out as a result of the hit in the warehouse. Rescuers who arrived at the scene simultaneously extinguished the fire and inspected the area for other hazards. The work was complicated by the threat of repeated shelling, which forced specialists to temporarily suspend extinguishing and take cover.
At present, all sources of combustion have been completely eliminated. According to preliminary information, there were no human casualties or injuries. Farmers are calculating the damage caused by the destruction of products.
