According to the Sumy regional military administration, there were 375 shellings of civilian areas in the Sumy region last week, February 16-22.
This is more than the week before, when there were 320 shellings. On average in February – more than 400, in January – 360.
Seven civilians were killed on February 16-22, three more than a week earlier. In the first half of February, there were already 16 victims, which is three times more than in all of January (5). There were 37 wounded compared to 20 the week before last.
44 people were evacuated from dangerous areas during the week (65 the week before last). The decrease in the number is probably due to the decrease in people remaining in dangerous areas.
Infrastructure also suffered on February 16-22. Private and multi-story buildings, educational and medical institutions, energy, railways, cars, and businesses were again under attack. “Shaheeds,” smaller UAVs, guided aerial bombs, and missiles attack the border areas daily, burning everything around.
