On February 26, Russian troops struck a mosque belonging to a Muslim religious community in Kherson. The Kherson regional military administration reported this.
As a result of the shelling, windows were broken in the building, the facade and the interior of the shrine were damaged.
The attack occurred during the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims. Despite the special time for believers, the Russian military continues to shell the city’s civilian and religious infrastructure.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the strike.
