The elimination of the consequences of the massive attack on Zaporizhzhia on the night of February 26 is ongoing. Damage has been found to almost a hundred private and apartment buildings, and low temperatures in heating systems are being recorded in some districts.
As of 4:00 p.m., damage has been found to homes in the Voznesenivka, Shevchenkivka, Oleksandrivka and Khortytskyi districts of Zaporizhzhia. As reported by the acting chairwoman Regina Kharchenko, a total of 44 apartment buildings and 45 private houses have been damaged.
“District administrations continue to inspect the territories, record the damage and form lists for further work,” Kharchenko said.
Due to the loss of power to boiler rooms in 423 houses in the Kosmichny, Oleksandrivka and Shevchenkivka districts, low heating supply temperatures are being recorded. Currently, utility workers are working to restore normal hydraulic and temperature conditions in heating systems.
Utility workers have closed broken windows in eight high-rise buildings and seven private houses. In one private house, a damaged slate roof was repaired, and in another, a temporary roof made of film was made. The owners of damaged non-residential premises were given 217 OSB sheets and seven rolls of film for self-repair.
