
On the night of March 7, Russia carried out another combined strike on Ukraine, using drones and missiles. Two houses were partially destroyed in Kharkiv, and the railway was damaged in a number of regions.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians launched entire groups of drones over Ukraine on the evening of March 6. With the beginning of a new day on March 7, they continued to fly into Ukrainian airspace.
From approximately 01:35 to 02:35 on March 7, the Russians launched several salvos of ballistics. Russian targets were mainly flying towards Kyiv, but Kharkiv suffered the most from the strikes. Also, closer to nightfall, the Russians launched Kalibr cruise missile carriers into the Black Sea, and after the ballistic strikes, launched Kalibrs twice.
The Ukrzaliznytsia company informed that as a result of the massive Russian attack and “damage to the railway infrastructure”, a number of trains in the Rivne, Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr regions were forced to change routes.
“This means delays on the road. Reserve diesel locomotives have already been deployed to all de-energized sections. Inspection and repair of the infrastructure has also begun,” the message said.
At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia added that their monitoring groups managed to protect dozens of passenger trains from over a hundred drones and missiles.
Ballistics flew over Kyiv at least three times on the night of March 7, and there were also drones on the outskirts of the city. According to the report of the chairman Vitaliy Klitschko, the consequences were recorded in three districts:
Holosiivskyi district – as a result of falling debris, smoke and fire occurred in the territory of non-residential buildings. The fire was extinguished
Desnyanskyi district: a fragment of a rocket was found on the road. No fire or casualties;
Dniprovskyi district: fragments were found in three locations – no fires or casualties.
Parallel to Kyiv, Russian ballistics were flying towards Kharkiv.
The city authorities almost immediately reported that a rocket had directly hit a five-story building in the Kyiv district.
“As a result of the Russian strike, the entrance to a five-story residential building in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv was actually destroyed. A house located nearby was also damaged,” said the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov.

In addition, the chairman Igor Terekhov said that there were one “Shahed” flight in Kyiv and Osnovyanskyі districts. As for the second location, the drone hit an industrial zone.
The number of victims in Kharkiv as a result of hitting a house is constantly growing. It is currently known that 10 people were injured in the city, among them children – boys aged 6 and 11 and a 17-year-old girl.
In addition, there was information that another 10 people may be under the rubble, including one child. The exact figure is currently unknown, but as of this morning, rescuers have already found the bodies of 7 people.
The city of Zaporizhzhia came under Russian attack today. As a result of the shelling, windows in 30 apartments of a high-rise building were damaged, and an infant was injured.
It is known that as a result of the night strike on Zaporizhzhia, 3 high-rise buildings and 3 private houses in the Dnipro district of the city were damaged.
As for the child’s condition, doctors assess it as average, the three-month-old girl remains under the supervision of doctors.
In Odesa, a series of explosions were heard repeatedly from approximately 01:37. According to reports from the Air Force, Russian strike drones flew in the direction of the city from the Black Sea many times.
In the morning, the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported that an infrastructure facility was hit in Odesa.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, an infrastructure facility was attacked at night, resulting in a large-scale fire. It is not specified where exactly, but the consequences of the attack are being eliminated by almost 200 rescuers and 60 pieces of equipment, the State Emergency Service said.
In Khmelnytskyi region, power outages are being recorded as a result of the Russian attack. In addition, the railway station building was damaged.
“As a result of the attack, the windows of the building at the railway station in the Shepetivskyi district were damaged. A fire also broke out, which was extinguished by rescuers. Fortunately, there were no casualties. There are power outages – power engineers are working to restore it,” said the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Tyurin.
According to the head of the Chernivtsi regional military administration, Ruslan Osipenko, the region was hit by drones and cruise missiles at night on March 7.
Officially, the consequences are currently unknown, but explosions were heard in Novodniestrovskyi. Monitoring groups suggested that the Dniester hydroelectric power station could have been the Russians’ target.
The Russian Federation also attacked the Zvenyhorod district of Cherkasy region with a drone. As a result of the night-time UAV attack on the region, a fire broke out in a residential building. Rescuers evacuated 6 people, including two children born in 2020 and 2021.
A residential building and outbuildings were destroyed at the scene. Cars, windows and doors of two other residential buildings were damaged.
