“We won’t return the money.” Hungary threatens to continue robbing Ukrainians

The team of Hungarian leader Viktor Orban does not hide that the seizure of Ukrainian collectors and the theft of money were a reaction to Ukraine’s “blocking” of the Druzhba oil pipeline. Moreover, Budapest hinted that the racket against Ukrainians will continue.

The Hungarian authorities are actually publicly admitting that they are blackmailing Zelensky’s team.

Budapest has questioned the legality of transporting foreign currency to Ukraine.

This time, the Minister of Construction and Transport of Hungary, Janos Lazar, resorted to public threats.

He cynically began to claim that the money and gold stolen by the Hungarian authorities would remain in Budapest until Ukraine resumes the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline.

Lazar does not hide that the seizure of Oschadbank’s collector cars was a planned action.

We know that Ukrainians are very nervous. If we are being blackmailed, we cannot be so stupid as to give in. We did what we did not by chance, and we will not return the money to them, — the Hungarian minister cynically stated.

Viktor Orban’s ally also hinted that the Hungarian authorities may prepare similar operations in the future if Ukraine does not fulfill Budapest’s demand regarding “Friendship”.

The money remains here for now, we are waiting for the oil pipeline to open, and we are waiting for new money transfers from Ukraine via Hungary, — Lazar emphasized.
