In Chernihiv region, a drone exploded near a checkpoint – one serviceman was killed and one was injured

In Chernihiv region, a Russian drone exploded near a checkpoint, injuring one serviceman.

This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv city military administration, Dmitry Bryzhinsky: “In a nearby community, a drone exploded near a checkpoint. As a result of the explosion, two servicemen were injured.”

According to him, the wounded are being provided with all necessary medical assistance.

“A drone hit a checkpoint near the village of Novoselivka, Kyseliv community, Chernihiv district. As a result of the strike, one serviceman was killed and one was injured, and a policeman was also injured,” the head of the city military administration later reported.

The detonation of unidentified explosives dropped from the drone is ongoing at the scene, and the relevant services are working.
