Russians attacked 15 communities in Sumy region: elderly men and women among the wounded

As of the morning of March 15, the security situation in Sumy region remains tense. During March 14, the Russians carried out more than 80 attacks, hitting 34 settlements in 15 communities of the region.

Shostka community: a 64-year-old man was injured as a result of a UAV attack.

Bereziv community: a strike by a guided aerial bomb on a communications unit injured two women (55 and 66 years old).

Velykypysariv community: an 85-year-old woman was injured as a result of a Russian drone strike.

Sumy community: a 69-year-old man injured in the attack on March 12 sought medical help.

Bereziv community suffered the greatest damage, where a post office was destroyed, a school, a bakery, a shop and residential buildings were damaged. Destruction was also recorded in Shostka, Glukhiv, Znob-Novgorod, Verkhnyosyrovat, Mykolaiv and Sumy communities. Private and apartment buildings, non-residential premises and vehicles were damaged, including a minibus in Shostka. Despite the constant danger, evacuation continues: on March 14, 22 people were evacuated from the border area. In total, the air alert in the region lasted for more than 19 hours.
