
On March 9-15, Russian troops struck 72 settlements in the Kharkiv region, including Kharkiv itself.
This is reported by Slobodskyi krai with reference to the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Synegubov and chairman Igor Terekhov.
Just last week, from 9 to 15 September, six people were killed and another 51 people were injured in shelling in the region, including six children – girls aged 6 and 9, two 16-year-old girls, and boys aged 9 and 12.
The greatest destruction was caused to the civilian infrastructure of the Kharkiv region. An apartment building, 25 private houses, an agricultural enterprise, warehouses, a club, railway infrastructure, power grids, outbuildings and 20 cars were damaged there.
Significant damage was recorded in the Bogodukhov district, where 27 private houses, a school, a children’s creativity house, an administrative building, an enterprise, outbuildings and equipment were damaged.
In Kharkiv itself, five apartment buildings, seven private houses, an enterprise, outbuildings, power lines, and 19 cars were damaged as a result of the shelling.
According to Igor Terekhov, the city was attacked 11 times. Strikes were recorded in the Industrial, Novobavarsky, Kholodnohirsky, Shevchenkivsky, Nemyshlyansky, and Kyivsky districts.
During one of the strikes on a meat processing plant, two employees of the enterprise were killed. Another 20 people were injured, including children.
