In Sumy, the Russian Federation attacked the building of the territorial center for recruitment and social support

On March 18, a Russian UAV hit the building of the territorial center for recruitment and social support in Sumy.

At the time of the strike, there were people in the building, but there are no reports of injuries or deaths.

However, as we have already reported, a 16-year-old boy and a woman who were near the building at a public transport stop were injured in the strike.

As noted in the Sumy regional territorial center for recruitment and social support, the strikes by Russian suicide drones on territorial centers for recruitment and social support are not an accident, but a deliberate tactic of the Russians. Not only energy or military infrastructure is under attack, but also a key element of the state’s defense capability – the mobilization system.

This is a targeted campaign, the goal of which is obvious – to disrupt the process of replenishing the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Russians are trying to act where, in their opinion, it is most painful: through intimidation, strikes and information pressure to influence the readiness of Ukrainians to defend the country.

Information and psychological operations did not give the Russians the desired result. Therefore, they resort to direct strikes.

“However, the territorial center of recruitment and social support of the Sumy region continues and will continue to fulfill their tasks. Intimidating Ukrainians will not work. Stopping mobilization will not work either. And therefore, stopping the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not work,” the communications group of the Sumy regional territorial center of recruitment and social support emphasized.
