
On the evening of March 18, during an air raid in Volyn region, explosions were heard in Novovolynsk, after which the city lost power and water outages were observed. It was previously reported that an energy facility near the city was hit.
The city was attacked by Russia. This was reported by the chairman of Novovolynsk, Borys Karpus.
Borys Karpus reported that an energy facility near Novovolynsk had been hit at 8:49 p.m. He admitted that part of the community had lost power and there were also water outages, and promised more information later.
Within 20 minutes, the chairman warned that the damage to the energy facility was “very serious.” According to him, the fire is still ongoing at the facility.
“The relevant services are working at the site of the impact. The power engineers will start work as soon as possible,” promised Borys Karpus.
He also noted that due to water supply disruptions, the authorities are “starting generators.”
“Some boiler rooms will operate at a minimum level. We are deploying the work of the Invincibility Points, we will announce the addresses later,” added the chairman.
