Russians attacked a car with a drone in Sumy region: brother and sister injured

On the afternoon of March 22, Russian troops attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Sumy region. An 18-year-old girl and her 13-year-old brother were injured.

This was reported by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Sumy region.

“According to the investigation, on March 22, 2026, in the Berezivska community of the Shostka district at about 3:30 p.m., Russians attacked a car with civilians with a drone. Two passengers were injured – an 18-year-old girl and her 13-year-old brother,” the report said.

The injured were taken to a medical facility and are receiving necessary assistance.

A pre-trial investigation is underway into the fact of war crimes committed by the Russians (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
