
A 13-year-old girl died and seven other children were injured in a Russian drone attack in Mykolaiv region on the evening of March 28. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of committing a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
This was reported by the Mykolaiv region prosecutor’s office.
According to the investigation, on March 28 at around 19:50, the Russian military attacked the Mykolaiv region with a UAV.
“As a result of the attack, 10 residents of one of the villages of the Voskresensky territorial society were injured, including 8 children who were in the center of the settlement in a recreation area at that time. One child, a 13-year-old girl, died of her injuries in hospital,” the report says.
It is indicated that private houses, cars, a shop and a children’s playground were damaged.
“Prosecutors, together with investigators from the police and the Security Service of Ukraine, are taking all necessary measures to document war crimes committed by Russian servicemen,” the prosecutor’s office summarized.
Initially, it was reported that on the evening of March 28, eight people were injured in an attack by “shaheeds” in the Voskresensk community, seven of whom were children.
Later, it became known that the number of victims had increased, three of whom were in serious condition.
