Russian drones caused a large-scale fire in Sumy region: rescuers worked under the threat of shelling

On the night of March 29, the Shostka community of Sumy region fell victim to an attack by Russian drones, which led to a large-scale fire at a civilian infrastructure facility. The fire, which covered a significant area, required the efforts of dozens of rescuers and units of special equipment to eliminate, which lasted several hours.

The fire seriously damaged the buildings, which burned out from the inside, and also destroyed the car park on the territory of the facility. The elimination of the fire was complicated by the constant threat of repeated drone attacks, which further increased the risks for rescuers.

This attack became another evidence of the escalation of the conflict and the worsening of the situation in the region, which requires an urgent response from the relevant services.
