
As of 17:30, damage to several private houses, outbuildings, and cars was recorded as a result of the fall of a Russian UAV in the Poltava community.
As reported by the acting mayor of Poltava, Kateryna Yamshchykova, 13 households were damaged.
“Today, as a result of the fall of a Russian UAV in the Poltava community, a hit was recorded in one of the residential neighborhoods of the city,” Yamshchykova noted.
This, she noted, is mostly private housing – one- and two-story manor-type houses.
“Preliminarily, a residential building and an outbuilding were destroyed as a result of the shelling – they took the main blow. Nearby houses suffered significant damage: in some cases, the roofs were completely opened, windows were broken, and the walls suffered damage of varying degrees,” Yamshchykova informed.
According to her, as of 18:30, 38 broken windows were recorded, four roofs were damaged to varying degrees, outbuildings and private cars.
A headquarters has been deployed on site. The State Emergency Service, police and other emergency services are working. More than 100 city council employees are involved: utility workers, social workers, the Department of Civil Protection, district councils in the city of Poltava (Shevchenkivsk and Podilsk).
