
On April 5, Russia attacked Kharkiv with a Shahed rocket. There were casualties in the Shevchenkivskyi district, houses were damaged.
This was reported by the chairman Igor Terekhov, as well as the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Synegubov.
According to preliminary data, there were casualties as a result of the attack on the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, but their number and condition are currently being established. Damage was recorded in nearby high-rise buildings.
“The hit was in the ground next to an apartment building. The glazing of the windows of residential buildings was damaged,” — the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Synegubov detailed.
A 61-year-old and an 89-year-old woman were injured in the attack – both suffered an acute stress reaction.
At least six residential buildings were destroyed: roofs were damaged, windows were broken, a gas pipeline was cut and the sewage system was disabled.
All emergency services are working on the scene, an examination of the territory is underway. The injured are being provided with the necessary assistance.
A strike on the Slobidskyі district was also recorded.
“According to the updated information of the Situation Center, the hit in the Slobidskyі district occurred in an open area – this caused a fire, grass and bushes are burning. No injuries or damage,” said chairman Igor Terekhov.
