In the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, markets, bazaars and street trading were banned on April 5-6.
The relevant decision was made on April 5 at a meeting of the commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies, the head of the Nikopol district military administration, Ivan Bazyluk, reported.
In particular, citizens were asked to minimize their stay in open areas and not ignore the alarm warning.
This decision was made against the background of an increase in cases of Russian attacks on civilians, critical infrastructure and trade, the relevant document states.
Bazyluk also reported that the Russians are distributing leaflets with threats and false statements. In them, as the head of the district military administration noted, the Russians are frightening with the “destruction of civilian equipment”, calling for waiting for the “arrival of liberators” and spreading rumors about an “offensive”, thereby trying to disorient the population.
Bazyluk emphasized that in this way the occupiers are trying to make people panic and lose confidence in the real situation. He called on people to ignore the relevant leaflets and not to spread their content, as well as to notify law enforcement officers if they discover such “warnings” from the Russians.
On April 4, Russian troops attacked the market in Nikopol with FPV drones, as a result of which 28 people were injured, including a child. Five people died – three women and two men.
Earlier on April 4, it was reported that three people were injured as a result of the Russian attack on the Nikopol region, including a baby and a six-year-old boy.
