The Russians continue their terror. A strike was carried out on the center of Nikopol, attacking a car, civilian infrastructure, and houses. Many of the wounded are a small child.
The police spoke about the consequences of the Russian strikes on April 6.
After 7:30 a.m. on April 6, the Russians directed an FPV drone at a civilian car that was moving along one of the streets of Nikopol, which is in the zone of constant shelling. As a result of the strike, the 33-year-old driver was injured, and the 49-year-old passenger will be treated as an outpatient. The car burned to the ground.
A few hours later, another Russian drone hit the city center, near one of the local pharmacies. As a result of the strike, a 62-year-old woman was injured – she was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Another 39-year-old victim was evacuated from the scene by a crew of law enforcement officers. The pharmacy, vehicles and multi-storey buildings near the site of the impact were damaged. All the injured were provided with medical assistance.
The Russians did not stop there and continued to hit Nikopol with drones and artillery. Two men aged 66 and 72 were injured in the strikes. Also, as a result of one of the attacks, a one and a half year old girl received shrapnel wounds.
“We urge citizens to refrain from traveling in the areas hit by strike drones in the city of Nikopol, to choose alternative routes, to follow danger alerts and, in case of threat, to immediately go to the nearest shelter. The Russians are purposefully attacking civilian vehicles and places where people gather. Do not expose yourself to danger,” the police statement said.
