Child killed, 11 injured in Russian drone attack in Cherkasy

The Russians sent dozens of drones to the Cherkasy region late on April 14. Nine targets were neutralized by air defense forces. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration Igor Taburets.

An eight-year-old boy was killed in a Russian drone attack in the regional center, and 11 more people, including a child, were injured to varying degrees, the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration Igor Taburets said: “On the situation in the Cherkasy region at the moment. In the evening, the Russian Federation sent strike drones to the region… Unfortunately, we have tragic consequences in the regional center. An 8-year-old boy died from his injuries. Condolences to the family… Nine more people were taken to the hospital, including a child. Three local residents received assistance at the scene.”

According to Ihor Taburets, at least four high-rise buildings were damaged as a result of the UAV crash.
