This was reported by the head of the Odesa city military administration Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration Oleksandr Ganzha and the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleh Synegubov.

Odesa

On the night of April 16, Odesa was hit by a missile and drone strike from Russia. Seven people died as a result of the attack, 11 more were injured.

“Unfortunately, we have six dead people… Another 11 people were injured, they are being provided with all necessary medical care,” – initially reported the head of the city military administration Serhiy Lysak.

Later, he clarified that the number of dead people had increased to seven.

According to Lysak, the strikes damaged infrastructure facilities, as well as a residential building in the Khadzhibeyskyi district of the city.

In addition, the blast wave damaged several buildings – more than 300 windows were broken out.

Separately, damage was recorded in one of the parks in the Primorskyi district.

Relevant services are working on the ground to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and provide assistance to the victims.

Dnipro

On the night of April 16, Russian troops launched strikes on the Dnipro, as a result of which fires broke out in the city, and deaths and injuries were recorded.

“The Russians launched strikes on the Dnipro. There were several fires. Preliminary, there are casualties,” – initially reported the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Oleksandr Ganzha.

Later, Ganzha clarified that the Russian troops targeted residential areas of the city. According to him: fires broke out in several locations, a five-story building was damaged, a private house was partially destroyed.

“Preliminarily, there may be a person under the rubble,” he said.

Later, it became known about the first injured.

“Five people were injured as a result of the Russian attack on the Dnipro. Three of them are hospitalized. A 40-year-old woman is in serious condition,” the head of the regional military administration said.

Over time, the number of injured increased.

“There are already 10 injured as a result of the Russian attack on the Dnipro. Seven of them are in hospitals. The injured have head injuries, shrapnel wounds, and acubarotrauma,” Ganzha specified.

After 4 a.m., he reported the first victim of the attack. According to him, residential buildings, garages, and cars were burned as a result of the strikes in the city, and an educational institution was also damaged.

After 6 am, the head of the regional military administration informed about the increase in the number of dead and injured.

“Two people died, 27 were injured due to the enemy’s night attack on the Dnipro. 14 injured in hospital. Five of them are in serious condition,” he said.

Rescue services are working on the ground, eliminating the consequences of the shelling and providing assistance to the injured.

Kharkiv

In addition, on the night of April 16, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with strike drones. As a result of the shelling, fires broke out, there are injured.

“The enemy attacked Kharkiv with strike drones. Industrial district. An “arrival” was recorded in the courtyard near a multi-storey building. Civilian cars caught fire,” Sinegubov noted.

He also noted that a 66-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman were injured in the Nemyshlyansky district of the city as a result of the Russian strike. Medics are providing all necessary assistance, all emergency services are working at the “arrival” site.

According to Chairman Igor Terekhov, in the Nemyshlyansky district, several private houses were damaged as a result of an enemy drone falling onto the road, and a gas pipeline was also cut off.

Mykolaiv region

As a result of the attack in the city of Novy Bug, a family was injured – a 36-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman, as well as the couple’s 8-year-old son, who suffered an acute stress reaction. The entire family was hospitalized. In addition, eight private houses were damaged in the city.
