Man killed in Kharkiv region after FPV drone detonation

On April 18, a tragedy occurred in the village of Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv region, as a result of the detonation of a Russian FPV drone, which had been on one of the streets of the settlement for several days.

This was reported by the head of the Dergachi city military administration, Vyacheslav Zadorenko.

Two local residents tried to lift the discovered drone. As a result of careless actions, an explosion occurred.

A 49-year-old man died on the spot from shrapnel wounds. A 58-year-old woman was thrown several meters by the blast wave – she received multiple shrapnel wounds and an open fracture of her leg.

Thanks to the prompt actions of the headwoman Lyudmila Vakulenko, local volunteers and ambulance doctors, the victim was evacuated and hospitalized the next day. Currently, her condition is stable, there is no threat to her life.

The authorities once again call on citizens not to approach or touch suspicious objects, including drones, mines, and unexploded ordnance. In frontline areas, such actions pose a direct threat to life.

A resident of a community in the Kharkiv region suffered stress after a drone attack

On April 19 at 10:45, Russian troops struck the village of Ryasne in the Zolochiv community.

As a result of the attack by a Molniya type UAV, a 48-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. This was reported by the head of the settlement military administration, Viktor Kovalenko.

A private residential building and outbuildings were also damaged.
