12 high-rise buildings and 14 private houses were damaged in Sumy due to a massive UAV attack on the night of April 21.

In total, over 1,000 windows and balcony frames were broken. More than 30 cars were also damaged, seven of them burned down, the Sumy City Military Administration reported. In addition to houses, the buildings of three educational institutions, a dormitory and an athletics arena were damaged.

At the scene of the crash, rescuers are cutting OSB boards and sealing up broken windows. At the same time, drivers are inspecting their damaged cars, some of which are being towed away by tow trucks.

In addition to high-rise buildings, the roofs of private houses have also been damaged. Special equipment is working at each location. They are removing construction debris, dismantling dangerous structures, and sealing up windows.

On April 21, after 1 a.m., Russian troops attacked Sumy with 10 drones. 15 people were injured as a result of the shelling. Seven of them were hospitalized, including three girls aged 13, 15, and 17. The children were diagnosed with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds, and their condition is assessed as moderate. Most of the other victims are elderly people, who have been diagnosed with mild injuries and acute stress reactions.
